Bluejay Bakes

Hey there! We’re Stephen and Katie Jaberg, and we’re Bluejay Bakes! We’re a brother/sister duo here in Lynchburg, VA with a last name that sounds like “jaybird” and a zeal to bring hearty, homespun bakes to central Virginia. Our early years in Ohio gave us exposure to wholesome flavors thanks to our dad’s roots in Amish country; we both grew in our love of cooking and baking as we got older and we bring those years of experience with us now to every single recipe. Katie’s attention to detail and Stephen’s expertise with strong flavor profiles result in bakes that we enjoy making and are proud to share with you.

When we’re not baking or working our day jobs you can find us mountain biking, hiking, camping, checking out local bookstores, getting overly excited about locally grown garlic, or sending each other memes on our phones from across the room.
